This website is deliberately simple. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics, embeds nothing from social networks, and loads no fonts or scripts from third-party servers. The only personal data we receive is what you choose to send us.
Controller
Spectrum IT Solutions GmbH, Vienna, Austria. The full address is in the Imprint. For any question about your data, write to office@spectrumit.eu.
Server log data
This website is hosted on Cloudflare’s network. When a page is requested, the server automatically records technical data: the IP address of the request, the time, the page requested, the referring page and the browser identification. This happens for every website on the internet and is necessary to deliver the page and to defend against attacks and abuse.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, our legitimate interest in operating a secure and functioning website. These records are not combined with other data and are not used to identify individual visitors.
Cloudflare, Inc. acts as our processor under Art. 28 GDPR. Details of its data handling are at cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.
Contact form and email
If you use the form on this website, we receive your business name, email address, a description of your business, the options you tick, and anything you write in the message field. If you arrived through a tagged link, for example in a newsletter, the form also sends the name of that link’s source and campaign, so we know where you found us. Nothing is stored on your device for this. If you email us directly, we receive whatever your message contains.
Messages sent through the form are delivered to our mailbox by Cloudflare’s email service. Our email, including office@spectrumit.eu, runs on Google Workspace, provided by Google Cloud EMEA Limited, Dublin, Ireland, which acts as our processor under Art. 28 GDPR.
We use this only to answer you and, if it turns into a project, to carry it out. We do not use it for marketing, and apart from the two providers named here, we do not pass it to anyone else.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where the exchange concerns a possible contract, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries.
Enquiries that do not lead to a project are deleted once it is clear nothing will come of them, at the latest after two years. Where a project follows, records are kept for as long as Austrian commercial and tax law requires.
Free draft requests
If you request a free homepage draft through our draft form, we process your first name if you give it, your business name, email address, what your business does, the links you send us and any photos or files you upload, to make your draft and to reply to you. Uploaded files are stored with Cloudflare, Inc., our hosting provider named above, and deleted automatically after 90 days unless you become a client.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, steps taken at your request before a possible contract.
Clients and payments
If you become a client, we process your company and contact details to provide the service and to bill for it. Card payments are processed by Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd., 1 Grand Canal Street Lower, Grand Canal Dock, Dublin, Ireland. We never see or store your full card number. Details of Stripe’s data handling are at stripe.com/privacy.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, the performance of our contract with you. Billing records are kept for as long as Austrian tax law requires, currently seven years.
Cookies and tracking
None. This website stores nothing on your device and does not track you across sites. There is no cookie banner because there is nothing to consent to.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you may request access to the data we hold about you, its correction or deletion, restriction of its processing, and a copy in a portable format. You may object to processing based on legitimate interest at any time.
Write to office@spectrumit.eu and we will answer within one month. If you believe we are handling your data unlawfully, you may complain to the Austrian Data Protection Authority (Datenschutzbehörde), Barichgasse 40–42, 1030 Vienna, dsb.gv.at.
