Wix and Squarespace prices are their own published plans, billed yearly, as of October 2026, converted from US list prices at about $1.12 to the euro (they vary a little by country). WordPress figures are typical market ranges for small business sites built by freelancers and small agencies. Website subscription figures are the published prices of providers in Austria, Germany and Switzerland that build and run a site for a monthly or yearly fee, for plans with around five pages, checked in October 2026. All prices exclude VAT.

Hours are our estimate, not a published statistic. Some people are faster and many are slower, so allow for about 50% either way. Money ranges come from published prices (Wix and Squarespace plans converted from US list prices, roughly €580 to €1,290 over three years), typical market rates for designers and agencies, and published prices of website subscriptions (setup plus three years). Totals show the lower end of each range. All prices exclude VAT.

You can’t drag things around on the site yourself. Instead you send us a short email and it is done, usually within two working days, with up to 12 small changes a year included. No logins, no learning an editor, and no broken layout at 11pm the night before a promotion.
